The Kai Shun Kohen Limited Edition Anniversary Luxury Set commemorates the remarkable milestone of ten million sales of the iconic Shun knife series. This exclusive set comprises a chef’s knife and a utility knife, both fashioned from 72 layers of dual-core Damascus steel. These blades are meticulously forged, alternating between flexible VG2 steel and durable VG10 steel, resulting in exceptional strength and precision.
Designed for optimal balance, the knives feature a seamless tang that seamlessly connects the blade to the handle. Crafted from rich deep red & black grained pakkawood, treated with moisture-resistant resins, the handles offer both durability and ergonomic comfort. Their chestnut (or ‘D’) shape is expertly contoured to fit snugly in the right hand.
Each knife is adorned with a unique serial number and is elegantly presented in a padded aluminium case bearing the iconic Shun logo. Additionally, the set includes two leather sheaths for added protection of the razor-sharp blades.
